Earlier this year, I had the great pleasure of being able to create a map for Felidae Conservation Fund (FCF).  As one of the preeminent wildlife conservation organizations focusing on wild cat ecology, it was a privilege to be able to contribute to their mission.  On this project, I worked closely with FCF’s lead wildlife ecologist to develop a map that describes the locations of several wildlife camera trap stations situated throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.  Here, in the western United States, through their Bay Area Puma project and Bay Area Bobcat project, FCF is doing amazing work that focuses on mountain lion (Puma concolor) and bobcat (Lynx rufus) conservation.  Beyond the U.S. border, FCF is also doing wild cat conservation work in Argentina (Argentina Puma project) and Kenya (Tsavo Cheetah project).  If you have a moment, please check out their website (and consider donating!).
